Anti-Inflammatory Morning Tonic

Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm water (gentle on digestion)

  • Juice of ½ lemon

  • 3-4 slices fresh ginger

  • A tiny pinch of sea salt (or Himalayan salt)

  • (pinch of turmeric + black pepper (for absorption) for extra anti-inflammatory boost (optional)


METHOD

Warm up some water (it should feel comfortable to sip).

Add lemon, ginger, a pinch of salt and turmeri c& pepper (optional) in a cup.

Add the water.

Let it sit for 2–3 minutes so the ginger infuses.

Sip slowly with a straw first thing in the morning, before food.
