Anti-Inflammatory Morning Tonic

Ingredients
1 cup warm water (gentle on digestion)
Juice of ½ lemon
3-4 slices fresh ginger
A tiny pinch of sea salt (or Himalayan salt)
(pinch of turmeric + black pepper (for absorption) for extra anti-inflammatory boost (optional)
METHOD
Warm up some water (it should feel comfortable to sip).
Add lemon, ginger, a pinch of salt and turmeri c& pepper (optional) in a cup.
Add the water.
Let it sit for 2–3 minutes so the ginger infuses.
Sip slowly with a straw first thing in the morning, before food.
